   Paneer Pasanda is a traditional Indian dish made with cottage cheese (paneer) and a rich, creamy tomato-based gravy. Here's a recipe for you to try:

 Ingredients:

  • 250g paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp oil or ghee
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp cashews (optional)
  • 2 tbsp raisins (optional)
 Instructions:

  1. Cut the paneer into thick slices and shallow fry them in a pan until they are golden brown on both sides.
  2. In a separate pan, heat oil or ghee and sauté onions until they turn golden brown.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute.
  4. Add tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.
  5. Stir in cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala powder. Cook for a minute.
  6. Add yogurt and stir well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add the fried paneer slices to the mixture and gently toss to coat the paneer with the masala.
  8. If desired, add cashews and raisins.
  9. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the paneer is heated through.
  10. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
