 Quick and Easy Instant Pot® Hamburger Soup Recipe

   Instant Pot® Hamburger Soup is a hearty and comforting dish that is easy to make in a  pressure cooker. It is made with ground beef, vegetables, and a variety of seasonings, and is a  great way to use up leftover hamburger or to make a quick and easy dinner.

Here is a basic recipe for Instant Pot® Hamburger Soup:

  Ingredients:
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 2 cups diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup canned diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups frozen corn
  Instructions:
  1. Set the Instant Pot® to the sauté setting and add the ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent.
  2. Add the potatoes, carrots, celery, beef broth, tomato sauce, canned diced tomatoes, thyme, basil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Close the lid and set the Instant Pot® to manual mode for 10 minutes.
  4. Once the cooking time is up, use the quick release method to release the pressure.
  5. Open the lid and add the frozen corn. Stir well.
  6. Close the lid and set the Instant Pot® to manual mode for another 2 minutes.
  7. Once the cooking time is up, use the quick release method to release the pressure.
  8. Serve the soup hot and garnish with fresh parsley or shredded cheese if desired.
